My ‘untitled’ work, affectionately referred to as stuffed, will be shown at the Cairns 2014 InkMasters INKFEST from 1-24 August and also at the 2014 Silk Cut Awards from the 5th to the 23rd of September here in Melbourne.
It seems the despair at the state of the nation is not wasted….

I think I’ll go to the Cairns opening Mon. Perhaps I’ll stay from the 1st to the 24th. Nice time to be up north. You going? Failing that, I’d like to go to the Melbourne show. Re stuffed and despair, how are you? Do you have a job? Is Mick enjoying not working? I walk past your house most days and wish I could have a coffee or wine with you but it is usually about 9:30 pm. I’m working pretty much full-time this semester-PANDA and social work placement at a school in Lilydale plus doing one Uni subject. Looking forward to Sat 26. Kate x
Btw, we just bought a very fuel efficient car- a diesel Mazda CX5. It’s an SUV with on demand 4WD. It is in 2WD unless you hit a rough surface then it switches to 4WD automatically. Very clever. Another fuel saving feature is that engine cuts out when the car stops at traffic lights etc and re-starts when you accelerate. Fuel consumption is between 5.7 and 7.7litres per 100kms which is excellent. Only saying all this because Mick and I talked about fuel efficient cars that he’d been researching.
